We enjoyed a short stay in this beautiful well located room. John was very responsive and friendly. We would book again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at John’s place this past weekend and had a fantastic time. The location couldn’t be better — just a five-minute walk (or less!) to the main strip in Elora and the Elora Mill. We loved being able to explore the town and then come back to such a cozy, comfortable place to stay. It was perfect for our one-night visit. The place was easy to find, and John was quick and helpful with his responses. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. 😊

This was our third stay at the gingerbread suite! What a perfect spot that is central to all of the great things about Elora. We also enjoyed using the picnic tables in the backyard area!

This place is the perfect location for a visit or we can get away In Elora.. We stayed here for a wedding and it was great because the ceremony was steps away and then the reception was just across the bridge which made it a beautiful walk to and back from the evening. The beds were comfortable everything was clean and then we stayed the next day and spent time in Elora which was absolutely adorable. Perfect location for all of your Elora fun

Location and room were great! The bathroom did have a musty odour to it, but there was a dehumidifier in the unit. Overall, quite clean and had everything you need for a short stay!

The Gingerbread House was perfect for my wife's and I anniversary night away in Elora. Super close to everything! The king bed was as comfortable as described! Will be booking again the next time we need a night away in beautiful Elora!

Nice room, the air conditioner is loud for watching tv and sleeping, but we liked the room!! And we had fun at all the shops, restuarants, bars and the gorge!! Thank you!!!

We stayed at the Gingersnap while in Elora Mill for a wedding. The proximity to The Foundry, where the ceremony was held, was amazing and just a very short walk away. It was nice to have others from the wedding staying in John's other units on the same property. The bed was comfortable and the room provided everything we needed for our one-night getaway.

Great Airbnb in the perfect location from the Elora Mill and the shops in town. The space had everything you needed to be comfortable and looked great. And we were seconds away from the venue which was the best part. The host was very accommodating from start to finish.

A charming little spot perfect for a few nights in the heart of Elora—could not have asked for anything more. I'd keep it in mind for future visits.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the airbnb and in Elora. Communication: Incredibly clear, detailed instructions from the moment of booking and this carried through to checkout. John provided all the information required in advance and was very responsive. We knew what to expect, how to get there, park and check in and out. Parking: Just as written, there was a parking spot for us upon arrival. Clear instructions and easy to find. The location was such that public parking would've been easy as well. The Space: Exactly as pictured and described but the vibe was even better than expected. It felt like a little oasis. Comfortable, very clean well decorated with all the amenities needed. The bed was REALLY comfortable. The Location: Absolutely perfect location. Walkable and right in the main core but on the edge so it felt private and like a real getaway. No outside noise at all. Overall: We are already planning to come back to Elora and will be booking this Airbnb if available.

We had a great experience at John’s Gingersnap apartment. It was as pictured and John was very responsive and nice - we needed to check in a bit earlier and he accommodated. The location was excellent! Just a minute walk to downtown Elora and a few mins more walk to the Mill. Easy parking too. We would come here again.

A little disappointed, had heard good things from others about their experience in a different room, same spot. Discovered hair in bed, leftover takeout in fridge, dirty dishes and visible dust on furniture . Made for a soured visit. But… It is very walkable to town and easy to find, would strongly suggest that maybe a refresh of expectations for cleaning staff would remedy the situation and experience for future guests.

Very close to the Elora Spa and Hotel. 3 minute walk. Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from. Apartment had everything we needed. Great communication with the host.
