We had a lovely time in Elora. We were a party of 7, and the space was more than enough for us. Location is spectacular, walking distance to basically everything you would need. Our only complaint is that one of the beds was very noisy and not the most comfortable, but other than that we had a great time!

The place is fantastic. Great spots. Beds are a little on the smaller side but the location is great, the living room is nice, and the kitchen is well equipped.

This apartment is perfect for a bridal party. In our case the groomsmen and groom used this place for getting ready. It was spacious, and beautiful. Perfect! John is very responsive before, and during our stay.

Actually, it was the first time to use the AirBNB app and products..the host was so friendly, the house was so easy to get and clean, kitchen was so nice, tons of clean towels. We did not use the backyard as it’s not levelled but nice view. We loved the ice cream from sugar skulls. The only thing that we did not found the washer machine and the dryer,, it was ok because we stayed only for one night. Maybe next time we would use it. A big thank for Join.

Absolutely beautiful home!!! Closest to Elora Mills for a wedding literally a 1 minute walk to the chapel and a 3 minute walk to the reception!!!! I have rented many Airbnb Canada USA and Europe but this one is by far one of my favourites!!!!!

Great location! It’s walkable to most places in Elora with an LCBO right across the way. It’s spacious and quiet. We enjoyed the 2 nights we spent here. There is no BBQ on site but the kitchen oven is very large and industrial grade which served us well. John is responsive and helpful. Thanks for the stay!

We were lucky to book an available weekend for this suite. The space was perfect for the five of us, with lots of room to cook, eat and relax. Loved using the beautiful kitchen range. Everything was very clean and comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on the side deck which was very peaceful and green, even with the downtown activity nearby. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. And of course, multiple visits for ice cream! Great stay. Highly recommend.

We were lucky to have found this accomodation. Its across the street from the venue of my friends wedding. The owner, John, was very accomodating. Really easy going fella. When we needed his help he was easily reachable. We called and he came soon after. Our family thanks him for the accomodation. If you are visiting Elora I highly recommend his airbnb. Its just a walk away the small town which gives Europe vibes. Cute for photo ops and the people are nice and friendly. Thank you again John!

We really enjoyed our stay. Elora is a beautiful town to explore. The property is only a 2 minute walk across either the foot bridge or the road bridge to all the main restaurants and boutiques. We were unfortunate to have noisy neighbours in the adjoining Airbnb but had an opportunity to speak to John about it the next day. It would have been nice to have some milk supplied for coffee.

Great central location. Easy walk and access to Elora's core, attractions, walks and trails. A well kept clean unit, with a patio which would be great when it warms up. The unit has a super kitchen and dining area. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Perfect location for exploring Elora. Great kitchen for making meals. Meets the description and was a generally clean. In my opinion, it was overpriced. Lots of dust and dog hair. You can hear the other tenants talking through the evening and night. The stairs going to the apartment were ice covered - appreciated the ice melt located close by. It served a purpose for us to spend time together and explore Elora.

Great spot great host

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding, family rented the other two units. The venue was about 150 feet from the apartment which was very handy. I was kept awake in the “master” suite due to headlights of cars going over the bridge, ended up putting green garbage bags over the window. Perhaps black out curtains would be beneficial. The other rooms were quieter. Fairly clean as well.

A really lovely place just a 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. It had all the amenities we needed and was really comfortable. John, our host, was friendly and always helpful.

We had a good stay at Johns place for a family wedding. Absolutely perfect location!! One downside we experienced was other renters in the unit below us came back and were quite loud with music blaring almost all night. This isn’t a fault of John - just to be aware for figuring booking.

We stayed one night with 2 other couples for a wedding at The Elora Mll. Lots of room 3 nice beds. Clean spot. John was very nice to let us in early to get ready for wedding at 4:30. Highly recomend!

We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding about 20 minutes away. We loved the location, both for proximity to the wedding, but also it is right in the heart of Elora. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the town! We did a little hike of the gorge, and also enjoyed a couple of restaurants in the vicinity. Nice to park your car and just get out and walk! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us, and the living area could certainly accomodate all. Would stay here again.

John’s place is conveniently located steps away from the Foundry building at the Elora Mill where we were attending a wedding ceremony. It is also conveniently close to all of the other downtown stores. Great value!

John has four apartment in the one house, which we all rented for my daughters wedding. It’s was great having family close by and eating together when we could. Easy 2 min walk to the Mill crossing the bridge to the left witch is only a walking bridge. John is always around the property if you have any question. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Awesome venue for the groomsmen

The home and location is beautiful and we had a great time. Unfortunately if you would like to cook dinner in this airbnb there are limited supplies we could not find a pizza cutter, oven mitts and had small baking pans. but over all had an excellent stay in elora the town is super cute. and everything is almost in walking distance will be looking forward to coming to elora in the future

Came for my best friend’s wedding at the Elora Mill—this location was only a 2 minute walk away! Perfect spot, clean, comfortable and the fact it was pet friendly saved the day as we had last minute care fall through for the pup. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a nice few days at John's place. We were a little worried about the cleanliness prior to checking in after a few not great reviews just before, the place was fairly clean though with a few overlooked tasks (garbage left in the bathroom, food in the sink, etc) but overall not bad. The space is big and the laundry in the building was handy. The location is near everything in downtown Elora.

From the moment we booked John was very responsive and answered all our questions. He is a great host and was super helpful and friendly. Ontop of that the property is located literally a 30 second walk from downtown Elora where everything is located. Also attached to the air bnb is a ice-cream shop with great ice cream. This is the perfect choice for those comming to visit the small town of Elora. Another top selling point is that two rooms each have their own private exit. The LCBO is also right next door. The kitchen is also amazing there is a great stove with 2 ovens and a griddle with a greese catcher for cooking. 10/ 10 would recommend for a vacation out of the city.

Ci ha concesso oltretutto di poter usare lavatrice e asciugatrice. L'appartamento si trova a distanza raggiungibile a piedi da qualsiasi ristorante e bar della zona, per cui visitare Elora è stato facilissimo. Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno presso questa struttura.

John's property was very central to downtown and the trails. The Airbnb was very clean and tastefully decorated with hard wood floors. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was huge. We will be returning to this unit, but for a longer stay next time. Great job John!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a family of 8 in Elora for the weekend. Although 8 can stay here, it is better suited for 6. One couple had to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The location is amazing,the public parking free and across the street and the home itself spacious and clean. The host was very responsive. We would most definitely stay here again.

John was a wonderful host. We had everything described, was wonderful for our two dogs, and plenty of towels. On a side note, the bathroom near kitchen has a few water problems like toilet running and showers door didn’t close well. Master bath was beautiful with no issues. Every bedroom had a good feature different from the others.

We would stay at John's place again in a heartbeat! He is a highly responsive host, super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed chatting with him. The space itself worked so perfectly for us. Bright, spacious, clean, plenty of towels, very comfortable beds and pillows. Kitchen is also spacious and well equipped. Full bathroom was really lovely and the smaller bathroom worked very well and also had a shower. A cute porch allowed for meals outside enjoying the view of the Elora Mill in the near distance. So close to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and hiking that the beautiful town of Elora has to offer. Highly recommend!

This accommodation was absolutely perfect for what we needed - an Elora getaway with my mother and sister! The location could not be better - a quick walk across the bridge and you are in the heart of this charming town. I was also able to explore into the Gorge via Victoria Park, which is a lovely walk from the property. A spacious and welcoming space! We watched a movie on Netflix and then had a wonderful sleep in the cozy beds. Just perfect!

We were there for a wedding which took place right across the street at the Elora Mill Grainery. Stunning location, happening area and lovely restaurants & businesses. Home was spacious, clean and well equipped & stocked. Only complaint was we didn’t have hot water—and John explained there was a hot water tank issue. Other than that it was a quiet, quaint & lovely spot—sleep was amazing.

Beautiful place and great location. You could walk to pretty much everything. Well equipped (no ironing board). Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Very prompt response from John. First impression on arrival was disappointing and off putting as you had to pass all the garbage and re-cycle on the porch to enter and the fridge was not clean. Otherwise great stay.

We enjoyed our 3-day stay at John's place. We were at Elora Mill for a wedding and it was very conveniently located - steps away from everywhere that we needed to be and the main restaurants and shops - yet relatively quiet. There was lots of room in the central living area for a group to feel comfortable. The main bathroom is lovely. The smaller bathroom had an issue with the shower but John responded immediately and was willing to help. The kitchen is well outfitted and there were lots of clean towels and linens available when needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

John's unit was the perfect place for us to spend a few days in Elora. Overlooking the river, the Mill, and historic downtown it was not only very picturesque when relaxing at the unit but also so close that we could walk to everything we wanted to do. Inside the unit there was more than enough room for the four of us to spread out and not be tripping over each other. And Man - what a kitchen!!! We were not in town long enough to cook anything but if we were there a bit longer we would for sure have been able to make ourselves lots of good things to eat. We would definitely stay again next time we come to town. Thanks, John.

Memorable New Year with family

Great location, walking distance to downtown. Spacious and clean. Great communication. Easy check in!

The perfect place to celebrate Christmas with our extended family! John’s place was cozy and easily accessible to the Old Mill so we took full advantage of their beautiful spa and restaurant. The local trails were perfect for walking our dog and enjoying views of the gorge. A beautiful kitchen for cooking a full Christmas dinner with all the fixings - just missing a few of the basics (can opener, peeler, salt and pepper) but we were able to find most of what we needed at the local convenience store and John was quick to respond and came to our rescue with a potato masher. There was seating for four at the dining room table but there are outdoor chairs that can be used to supplement. Might be nice to have a bit more seating in the living room for movie nights and a few more hangers in the closet but all in all a very comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, sheets, pillows etc. Would definitely recommend!

John's cottage is a very nice getaway, located within walking distance to all the food and amenities of Elora. He is a responsive and and accommodating host. The kitchen is well stocked with all cookware and utensils. Do bring basic cooking supplies like oil and spices. The beds are comfortable, one of the better mattresses experienced at an AirBNB.
